Eight The Festival of Queer and Feminist Culture Smoqua<\/a> from October 10th to 12th invites you to seven locations in Rijeka. You\u2019ll have the chance to quiz, mingle, and share experiences in Queer City<\/strong>, relax with board games at Games & Hangout<\/strong>, and run through the streets of Rijeka within exciting Queer Treasure Hunt<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To reduce menstrual poverty and to address hygienic waste, at #Smoqua2024 info-point we are distributing menstrual cups <\/strong>Intimina<\/strong><\/a>In addition to menstruation, sexuality also shouldn\u2019t be a stigma or taboo, and in breaking down prejudices LELO\u00a0<\/strong><\/a><\/strong> is our important ally. Come over and chat with 10+ civil society organisations: Delta, SOS Rijeka, PaRiter, KolekTIRV, SKC Rijeka, ESN Rijeka, Rainbow Families, CMS, Proces and others. You\u2019ll find booths waiting for you: grab a badge, find out if you can volunteer somewhere, or just exchange information on feminist and queer topics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Queer Treasure Hunt \/\/ 14.00 \u2013 17.00<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Through riddles, challenges, and teamwork, we discover where LGBTIQ+ persons used to gather in the past and where Rijeka's queer culture is enriched these days. Rijeka is full of places that have provided space t LGBTIQ+ individuals - and thus queer culture \u2013 for growth, empowerment, and connection. Many of these places still exist today. Activity leader Alex Katunar has extensive experience in organizing events and is eager for us to explore Rijeka's queer past \u2013 and present - together. Teams can be made up to 5 people, and you can register your team at the info booth (Palach, Kru\u017ena ulica 8) during all three days of the festival.
