Project \"REACH OUT 2.0 \u2013 Developing adequate support for LBTIQ women and non-binary gender-based violence survivors<\/strong>is implemented by the Lesbian Organization Rijeka - LORI (coordinator) and SOS Rijeka \u2013 Center for Nonviolence and Human Rights (partner organisation) in the period from October 15th, 2025 to October 14th, 2026. The project builds on the previous work of the organisations in protecting LBTIQ women and non-binary persons who have experienced gender-based violence,<\/a> with the aim of ensuring adequate support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main goal of the project<\/strong> is to ensure the availability and adequate support and protection for LBTIQ women and non-binary persons who are survivors of GBV in Croatia. Specific objectives are:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Strengthen the capacities of lesbian and feminist organizations to provide higher-quality support to LBTIQ women and non-binary persons who have experienced GBV,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Build alliances and increase the inclusivity of women\u2019s counselling centres to make their services more inclusive and visible for LBTIQ women and non-binary persons who have survived GBV,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Raise public awareness about the importance of preventing and combating GBV against LBTIQ women and non-binary persons,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. To ensure psychological and legal support for LBTIQ women and non-binary persons - GBV survivors and to encourage them to seek help.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Through this project, we will continue to provide space networking among organisations<\/strong> working with women and\/or LBTIQ women, further strengthen the capacities of professionals providing psychosocial support,<\/strong> and increase the availability of psychosocial and legal support for LBTIQ women and non-binary persons.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    So this project will include study visit to organisation Labris in Belgrade<\/strong> to strengthen the collaboration among organisations working on the protection of victims of gender-based violence, social media campaign based on personal stories of LBTIQ women and non-binary survivors of GBV, increasing<\/strong> the availability of psychosocial and legal support<\/strong> for LBTIQ women and non-binary persons, education for psychosocial experts<\/strong> contributes to psychological, peer<\/em> and legal counseling for LBTIQ women and non-binary survivors of GBV.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
