{"id":3328,"date":"2022-09-02T14:39:45","date_gmt":"2022-09-02T12:39:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lori.hr\/?p=3328"},"modified":"2023-03-28T15:11:27","modified_gmt":"2023-03-28T13:11:27","slug":"savez-za-lgbtiq-ravnopravnost-na-radnom-mjestu-info","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lori.hr\/en\/savez-za-lgbtiq-ravnopravnost-na-radnom-mjestu-info\/","title":{"rendered":"LGBTIQ Work Equality Alliance"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\"><strong>LGBTIQ Work Equality Alliance<\/strong> project is a continuation of the efforts of Croatian and Slovenian civil society organisations (CSOs), companies and other employers, and trade unions in addressing discrimination based on sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression and sex characteristics (SOGIESCE) and promotion of inclusion of LGBTIQ+ people in employment. The project started on January 1st 2022 (with the duration of 24 months), implemented by civil society organizations Expanse of Gender and Media Culture Common Zone and Lesbian Organisation Rijeka - LORI from Croatia and Legebitra from Slovenia, and is funded by the European Union trough Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values (CERV) programme with the amount of  177 789.06 EUR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project builds on the results of the previous actions and furthers partnership with employers, trade unions and LGBTIQ+ communities, with the aim to increase their participation in activities that contribute to creating safe and inclusive working environments. Additional information regarding previous actions can be found here:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/ravnopravnost.lgbt\/category\/english\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/ravnopravnost.lgbt\/category\/english\/<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Main project activities are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>transfer of practices among European CSOs as a foundation for development of programmes for employers and trade unions which will be implemented in Croatia and Slovenia;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>development of a programme for employers consisting of assessment of needs \u2013 Workplace Equality Index survey \u2013 based on which tailor-made training will be implemented in employers\u2019 organisations;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>raising awareness and encouraging employers\u2019 participation partners in implementing Workplace Equality Week campaigns in Slovenia and Croatia;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>developing policies for trade unions pertaining to both collective bargaining and internal union practices and thus strengthening their capacities to actively participate in ensuring workplace equality for LGBTIQ people;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>increasing the knowledge of LGBTIQ+ community with regards to protection of their rights in employment and thus fostering discrimination reporting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project will end with an international conference in Croatia planned in the second half of 2023 to foster cooperation among all relevant stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\"><em>The project is funded by the European Union trough Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values (CERV) programme.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lori.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/Funded_by_the_EU_logo.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3329\" width=\"150\" height=\"152\" srcset=\"https:\/\/lori.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/Funded_by_the_EU_logo.png 300w, https:\/\/lori.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/Funded_by_the_EU_logo-296x300.png 296w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 150px) 100vw, 150px\" \/><\/figure>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Projekt&nbsp;LGBTIQ Work Equality Alliance&nbsp;(Savez za LGBTIQ ravnopravnost na radnom mjestu) predstavlja nastavak rada hrvatskih i slovenskih organizacija civilnog dru\u0161tva, tvrtki i drugih poslodavaca te sindikata na suzbijanju diskriminacije na osnovi seksualne orijentacije, rodnog identiteta, rodnog izra\u017eavanja i spolnih karakteristika (SOGIESCE), kao i na promicanju uklju\u010divog radnog okru\u017eenja za LGBTIQ+ osobe.
