Together they have learned about active participation through practice, tasks and examples. activism: discrimination and violence, existing legislation, hate speech, cyber bullying creating safe(r) space, organising public actions and protests, social media as helpful tools in fight for human rights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through discussions, exercises, group work, 12 young persons have gotten empowered for acting in activism, while starting designing and preparing initiative(s) that they would conduct by the end of the project. We cannot wait for the continuation of collaboration, connecting and building new alliances! \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Some <em>ad hoc<\/em> actions have already been prepared and executed by the groups during the training, and here is a brief \u201cteaser\u201d: an urban intervention, reactions on social media on (institutional) transphobia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">The training was held as part of the project <a href=\"https:\/\/lori.hr\/en\/glasovi-mladih-za-drustvene-promjene\" target=\"_self\">\u2018Youth Voices for Social Changes\u2019 <\/a>\u00a0conducted by\u00a0Lesbian Organisation Rijeka \u2013 LORI and partner organisation<a href=\"https:\/\/ljubljanapride.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Pride Parade Association<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Project \u2018Youth Voices for Social Changes\u2019<\/strong> is conducted by Project Coordinator Lesbian Organisation Rijeka \u2013 LORI and partner organisation Pride Parade Association from April 2022 until the end of November 2023.
