Four LORI activists have attended this international youth worker mobility project aimed at strengthening cooperation and developing capacity of youth organisations in dealing with migration and asylum issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eight-day training was organized by CSO StepEurope and carried out in Turku (Finland) from 7th to 15th of December, 2017. Training involved 30 participants from 7 Erasmus+ Programme countries - Finland, UK, Italy, Greece, Croatia, Hungary and Romania.\nThe project is a training of trainers, based on non-formal methods and experiential learning such as small group work, team-building activities, multimedia presentations, role play and social theatre.<br>The main project aim is to improve the quality of local activities in the fields of migration and asylum awareness conducted by consortium members in their countries.<br><br>Specific project objectives are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To facilitate exchange of expertise on approaches to migration and asylum education in youth work<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To train youth workers in using education tools developed by UNHCR and the Red Cross (\u2018Not Just Numbers\u2019 and \u2018Positive Images\u2019)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To promote international cooperation and networking between youth organisations<\/li>\n<\/ul>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lezbijska organizacija Rijeka \u201cLORI\u201d partnerica je na Erasmus+ projektu\u00a0\u201eNot just Numbers\u201c, me\u0111unarodnom projektu mobilnosti mladih s ciljem osna\u017eivanja suradnji i izgradnje kapaciteta organizacija koje rade s mladima i bave se pitanjima migracija i tra\u017eenja azila.
