Within the framework of Smoqua\u00b3<\/strong>, which will take place in Rijeka from May 23 to 25<\/strong>, art organization From the Citizens to Their City<\/strong> presents the performances by Vlasta Delimar The Right to an Orgasm at over 60<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Thursday, May 23, from 15:00 to 18:00<\/strong>, right before the opening of Smoqua festival, Vlasta Delimar will do the performance The Right to an Orgasm at over 60<\/strong> in the shop window FUTURA NOVA, at the address Ante Star\u010devi\u0107a 5a (former Garibaldi).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Occupying the shop window as a place reserved for lifeless, silent mannequins as the bearers of the ideals of young and thin femininity Vlasta Delimar, who herself passed 60s, draws publics attention to the importance of sexual life and enjoyment at an older age, and raises the question of the status of sexuality as a human right. The Right to an Orgasm at over 60 insists on breaking down the taboos imposed on women in the so-called third age and clearly advocates sexuality as a human right and an existential component of our corporeality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vlasta Delimar lives and works in Zagreb. She began her artwork in the late 70s and since then she insists on the body as the primary art media, defining his position as a distinguished, autonomous artist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
