{"id":9397,"date":"2023-12-10T10:27:29","date_gmt":"2023-12-10T09:27:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lori.hr\/?p=9397"},"modified":"2025-04-01T11:11:07","modified_gmt":"2025-04-01T09:11:07","slug":"sigurnost-i-jednakost-u-skolskim-klupama-info","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lori.hr\/en\/sigurnost-i-jednakost-u-skolskim-klupama-info\/","title":{"rendered":"Safety and Equality in Classrooms"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"translation-block\">The main goal of the project titled \u201cSafety and Equality in Classrooms\u201d is to enhance inclusion, equality and non-discrimination in education and to ensure support for LGBTIQ+ youth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project is implemented by Lesbian organization Rijeka \u2013 LORI from November 1st 2023 \u2013 April 30th 2025 and is financed with the amount of 55.727,59 \u20ac in the scope of the Impact4value programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Project will raise awareness of school staff and the public on problem of LGBTI-phobia in education and the importance of an inclusive environment in schools. Project will also build capacities of educational institutions and school staff to combat LGBTI-phobic speech and peer violence in schools and to provide support to LGBTI students.  The knowledge of youth about the harmfulness of LGBTI-phobic speech and behaviour is to be increased, and better acceptance of LGBTIQ+ students in schools will be encouraged. Too, psychosocial support and legal aid for LGBTIQ+ youth will be provided.
