Network of collaborators
LORI is engaged in combating homophobia, biphobia and transphobia in the education system since 2012 by organising variety of activities such as: lectures for secondary (and recently, primary) school students, educations for school staff, creating useful publications (e.g. Guidelines for combating homophobia, biphobia and transphobia in the education system, Handbook for teachers and so on), providing free psychosocial support to LGBTIQ+ youth, advocating for positive changes, etc. Over the years, we have established many collaborations within this field with various experts, institutions and organisations from public and civil sector towards promoting human rights education, developing activities for combating homophobia, biphobia and transphobia in education and protection of LGBTIQ+ youth in educational institutions.
Individuals, organisations and institutions that are interested in:
- implementing and/or participating in activities improving the education system by making it more inclusive,
- providing support to LGBTIQ+ youth,
- creating a positive school and university environment free from discrimination,
- implementing activities for youth aimed at preventing violence based on sexual orientation and/or gender identity and expression,
- collaborating with LORI on projects on combating homophobia, biphobia and transphobia in the education system
- other activities in the forementioned field
