Counselling

LORI’s psychological counselling started in 2007 and is intended for LGBTIQ+ persons of age (18+) that face various situations and challenges throughout their life.

The counselling services’ goal is to provide a safe space in which a person can get support concerning their gender/sexual identity and expression, sexual orientation, and other specific questions (coming out, internalised homo/bi/transphobia, relationships, unaccepting family and surroundings, facing discrimination and other).

Counselling services include individual, partner and family counselling/psychotherapy. Counselling support is provided by LGBTIQ+ friendly and informed professionals.

Counselling may be done in person, once a week for 1 hour (or according to the agreement with the professional).

NOTE: Due to the large number of applicants and appointments, our counselling services are limited to 8 (eight) free of charge meetings. If we are not able to offer you an appointment within our services, we will point you to a professional or organisation that is able to offer an adequate support.

If you need counselling, please fill out this application form, and we will contact you as soon as possible.

Sometimes we ourselves can be the support we seek. Below are some links that can be useful:
