Because of this survey, for the first time in Croatia we now have data from both employers and LGBT employees that provides an insight into the current state of affairs concerning LGBTI equality in the workplace. Since the data was obtained from two relevant participant groups, the results represent a valuable contribution to the mapping of the situation in this particular field.
The results can also serve as a starting point for developing guidelines aimed at creating an inclusive and safe work environment for LGBTI employees as well as a basis for conducting future research in this field.
