Panel addresses the rise of anti-gender ideologies affecting LBTIQ+ women, covering key topics like mental health, reproductive rights, inclusive education, visibility, and freedom of assembly.
Moderators:
Jelena Vasiljević (Serbia): Dedicated activist with Rainbow Ignite, where she works to advance LGBTIQ+ rights in Serbia, promoting inclusivity, community support, and cultural preservation.
Helena Vuković (Serbia): Her activism centers on community support and promoting inclusivity for LBTIQ+ , and she is a woman with trans experience who lives her activism 24/7.
Panelists:
Elena Petrovska (North Macedonia): Active with ERA LGBTI, supporter of LGBTI individuals facing violence and discrimination, and researcher in the field of anti-gender themes related to LBTIQ women.
Antonija Stojanović Almesberger (Croatia): A leader in queer cultural activism, Antonija heads social activities, Programme Combatting discrimination and advancing the rights of LGBTI persons at LORI and coordinates Smoqua - Festival of Queer and Feminist Culture.
Rina Braimi (Kosovo): LBTIQ rights advocate advancing inclusive policies and community support in Kosovo, creating safe spaces for marginalized voices.
Buğu Sıla Evren (Turkey): Passionate activist focused on visibility and legal protections for LBTIQ individuals in Turkey, championing safe public spaces.
Jelena Čolaković (Montenegro): An activist dedicated to advancing LGBTI rights in Montenegro, focusing on legal advocacy, community support, and creating inclusive spaces for the LGBTI community to thrive.
Dajana Bakić (Bosnia and Herzegovina): LGBTI and women's rights activist working in Sarajevo Open Centre. As President of Rainbow Rose EU, she champions LGBTI equality across Europe.
Xheni Karaj (Albania): A pioneering activist and co-founder of Aleanca LGBT, organizer of Pride events in Tirana, awarded for her unwavering dedication to LGBTI+ rights and social change.
