The project “Development of organisational sustainability and economic eesilience of LBTIQ women” will enable LORI to strengthen its long-term organisational sustainability while creating new opportunities for the economic empowerment of LBTIQ women.
The main goal of the project is to increase the financial sustainability, resilience, and autonomy of LORI through the development of innovative philanthropy and self-financing models, as well as to strengthen the capacities of LBTIQ women in entrepreneurship, career development, and economic independence.
Specific objectives (SO)
SO1. To build a sustainable system for fundraising and community mobilisation and to implement a fundraising campaign.
SO2. To develop sustainable self-financing models for the organisation through the standardisation and structuring of LORI’s educational services in gender equality, workplace inclusion, and awareness-raising on challenges faced by LBTIQ women.
SO3. To increase the visibility of LORI’s educational services among the public and relevant stakeholders.
SO4. To empower LBTIQ women through workshops aimed at developing entrepreneurial skills, labour market knowledge, and career development competencies.
Through this project, we will strengthen LORI's long-term organisational sustainability and economic resilience by developing and implementing a comprehensive digital fundraising model that will diversify our funding sources, increase community engagement, and create sustainable mechanisms for individual giving.
At the same time, the project will enhance the professionalisation of LORI's educational services by improving the quality, structure, and visibility of our education programmes, enabling the organisation to further develop its educational activities. This process will be supported through close cooperation with partner organisations K-zona and SOS Rijeka, whose expertise will contribute to strengthening the relevance, and sustainability of the educational services.
Finally, the project will directly contribute to the economic empowerment of LBTIQ women by organising a dedicated career development workshop that will strengthen participants' professional skills, confidence, and employability.
