Project “Qnect: for equity and inclusion” is conducted by Project Coordinator Lesbian Organisation Rijeka - LORI and partner organisation Legebitra from December 2025 until the end of November 2027. The project is worth 60.000 €, ensured through the financial support of European Union's Erasmus + Programme.
The main objective is to strengthen capacities of partner organisations to work with LGBTIQ+ youth and support wellbeing and civic engagement of LGBTIQ youth. Project aims to strengthen emotional resilience of partner organisations' youthworkers who work with LGBTIQ+ youth as well as mental health of LGBTIQ youth, and to develop their capacities for active civic engagement. The project will contribute to improvement of LGBTIQ inclusive practices in youth organisations in Croatia and Slovenia.
Main project activities are::
- Study visit of LORI to Legebitra
- Questioning needs of LGBTIQ+ youth in Croatia and Slovenia
- Empowering workshops for LGBTIQ+ youth in Croatia and Slovenia
- Strengthening emotional resilience of youth workers in partner organisations
- Capacity building training for LGBTIQ+ youth for active civic engagement
- Actions of LGBTIQ+ youth in Croatia and Slovenia
- Training for youth workers and youth organisations in Croatia and Slovenia on increasing LGBTIQ+ inclusion.
