Queer-UP! Party @Smoqua 2022: Časna sestra & Karmen Daš

Ready for party?

The sixth Festival of Queer and Feminist Culture Smoquais approaching: 18 events & 4 venues, including fan-favorite Queer-UP! Party! The line-up serves only the best:

Marija Nikolić (Časna sestra/The Nun) is a multi-instrumentalist who plays the keyboard, accordion and harmonica. Marija played in several Belgrade bands (Lorna Wing/Sana Garic band) with whom she participated in various festivals such as Exit and Nisville.

She is a long-time member of the self-organized alternative choir Horkestra and the youth choir Svi UGLAS (Art Apparatus), in which she plays all three instruments. In addition to performing and teaching music, Marija has been actively DJing for five years as Časna sestra/Nun.

The Nun chooses electric dance hits whether they are current or retro from the 70s to the 90s, Synth pop, Electro pop, Electronica, Indie dance/Nu Disco as well as some musical surprises.

See you @Smoqua! 😀 😀

And in order to satisfy your (feminist) hunger, the Slovenian drag performer Karmen Daš is gracing us with her presence. She describes herself as successful according to her Sun sign, but dry according to her Moon sign... But don't worry, the performance will be as hot and passionate as she is herself, so come and enjoy the hot atmosphere.

Karmen Daš started her journey in 2018 and has performed in Germany, Romania and all around Slovenia from Maribor, Koroška Pride and Ljubljana. She also performed on Dragoslavia and Dragoslavia live, a drag platform that unites the sisterhood of drag performers all around ex Jugoslavia countries and more.

See you at Smoqua! 🙂
